Audify Tech Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates the Riff mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Information collected automatically:

• Device Identifier — A randomly generated anonymous ID (install ID) created when you first open the app. This is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
• Usage Data — Songs you create, play counts, styles you prefer, and creation streaks. Used to personalize your experience.
• Referral Codes — If you share or enter a referral code, we store the code and the referral relationship to award credits.
• Device Information — Device type, operating system version, language, and country (from SIM card or device locale). Used to personalize content.

Information we do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your contacts or address book
• Your location (GPS)
• Photos, files, or other personal media

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the song creation experience
• To track your credit balance and creation streaks
• To enable the referral program (matching referral codes between users)
• To show relevant content in the Friends feed
• To improve the App and fix bugs

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share anonymous, aggregated data with:

• Cloudflare — Our hosting provider that processes API requests and stores song files
• Google Play — For in-app purchases and billing

We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party analytics services.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored on Cloudflare's globally distributed infrastructure with encryption at rest
• All API communication uses HTTPS (TLS 1.3)
• We use anonymous device identifiers — your data cannot be traced back to you personally

5. Data Retention

We retain your anonymous usage data for as long as you use the App. If you uninstall the App, your local data is deleted. Server-side data (anonymous) may be retained for up to 12 months for analytics purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your data — Uninstall the app to remove all local data. Contact us to request server-side deletion.
• Opt out of notifications — Disable notifications in your device settings.
• Request your data — Contact us at the email below to request a copy of data associated with your device ID.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
